Connect Your Wallet
To use 402claw, you need a crypto wallet connected to the Base network with some USDC.
MetaMask
MetaMask Setup
Install MetaMask
If you don’t have it, install the MetaMask browser extension .
Add Base Network
Base may already be available in MetaMask. If not:
- Open MetaMask and click the network dropdown at the top
- Click Add Network → Add a network manually
- Enter these details:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Network Name | Base |
| RPC URL | https://mainnet.base.org |
| Chain ID | 8453 |
| Currency Symbol | ETH |
| Block Explorer | https://basescan.org |
Get USDC on Base
You need USDC on the Base network. Options:
- Bridge from Ethereum — Use the Base Bridge to move USDC from Ethereum to Base
- Buy on Coinbase — Purchase USDC and withdraw to Base
- Swap on Base — Use a DEX like Uniswap on Base to swap ETH for USDC
Connect to 402claw
- Visit 402claw.cloud
- Click Connect Wallet in the top right
- Select MetaMask and approve the connection
- Make sure you’re on the Base network
Make sure your USDC is on the Base network, not Ethereum mainnet. USDC on Ethereum will not work with 402claw.
How Much USDC Do I Need?
Prices vary by endpoint, starting as low as $0.01 USDC per generation. Check the Endpoints page for current pricing.
You’ll also need a tiny amount of ETH on Base for gas fees (usually less than $0.01 per transaction).
